Meet the Doctor

Endodontist Jen-Kuei Wang, Ph.D., D.D.S.

Dr. Jen-Kuei Wang, Ph.D., D.D.S. was born in Taiwan and moved to the US to pursue his Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Columbia University. Encouraged by his wife, Dr. Wang made the decision to go back to school to become a dentist. He went on to graduate from UCSF School of Dentistry as a member of OKU. After a few years of practicing as a general dentist, Dr. Wang began to develop a growing interest in the high degree of technical detail associated with root canal therapy, and the gratification associated with treating pulpal inflammation and infection. He then went on to receive his Certificate from the highly competitive UCLA Post-Graduate Endodontic program. In his years of training, he has been exposed to all phases of modern techniques in conventional and surgical endodontic treatments. Finally finding a field that satisfies his thirst for learning and challenges, Dr. Wang enjoys his free time traveling and exploring the world.
